Kenansville, NC — Juniors and undecided seniors from across Duplin County Schools recently gathered for the annual College Fair, hosted by the Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACRAO). The event brought together representatives from colleges and universities across the state, giving students a valuable opportunity to explore postsecondary options and plan for life after graduation.

Students spent the day meeting one-on-one with college representatives to learn more about academic programs, campus life, admissions, and financial aid. From large public universities to small private colleges, the variety of institutions represented ensured that every student could find pathways that matched their interests and goals.

Teachers and counselors were present throughout the event to guide students, encourage questions, and help them make the most of each conversation. Many students walked away with new ideas and inspiration for their futures—along with the resources and connections to take the next step with confidence.

“Events like this empower our students to dream big and make informed choices about their future,” said Superintendent Mr. Daren Tyndall. “We are so grateful to CACRAO and all the colleges that participated for helping our students see the many doors that education can open.”
